Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in web development, full-stack technologies, and team management. In this role, you will guide the design and estimation processes, manage customer relationships, oversee project execution, and drive delivery excellence initiatives. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and customers to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions while managing risks, performance, and resources effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management & Delivery:

• Review and guide design, estimates, and scope with the customer.
• Create detailed project plans, track progress, and manage constraints.
• Identify and manage risks, ensuring process and delivery quality.
• Implement and promote delivery excellence initiatives like Focus Hours and continuous improvement practices.
• Manage margins, propose billing levels, and ensure adherence to budget constraints.
• Close Tier 2 business and manage customer expectations effectively.

Team Management:

• Plan for hiring needs, including defining positions, slots, and making hiring decisions.
• Select and assign team members to projects, including handling buffers and replacements.
• Conduct performance reviews of Tech Leads, address non-performance issues, and approve leave and compensatory offs.
• Control attrition through engagement, alerts, and corrective actions.
• Ensure optimal utilization and team productivity, managing resource allocation.
• Recommend promotions and VP-level decisions.

Customer Relationship & Engagement:

• Own and manage customer relationships, ensuring a positive experience and functional value.
• Deliver process and domain value to customers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
• Collect Statements of Work (SOW) and Change Requests (CR) from customers.
• Collaborate with customers to capture feedback and implement continuous service improvements (CSI).

Technical Expertise & Strategy:

• Guide and ensure the quality of designs and deliverables (Dev and Process).
• Lead and mentor the team on best practices for web development, .NET/Java, and JS frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership and support for the team in areas such as estimation, deployment, and greenfield product development.
• Contribute to the creation of new frameworks and processes.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in web development, ensuring innovative solutions for customers.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Manage IT needs for the project (hardware, network, etc.).
• Plan and coordinate travel requirements for the team.
• Contribute to and implement HR policies.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Extensive experience as a Web Developer (preferably in .NET, Java) and Full-Stack development.
• Proven experience as a Tech Lead and Project Manager in web development projects.
• Expertise in managing multiple projects, requirements gathering, and estimation.
• Strong background in Agile methodologies and delivery practices.
• Hands-on experience with JS frameworks and working on the latest tech stacks.
• Experience managing international and geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage customer expectations.
• Experience with Fixed Price projects and understanding of financial and resource management.
• Strong experience in managing and mentoring teams, including performance management, hiring, and attrition control.
• Ability to propose and review HR policies, and ensure they are implemented effectively.
