Role: DevOps Engineer
Experience: Minimum 5-10 years
Location: Thane West (100 percent work from office, no hybrid, no work from home)
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Understanding of compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR, ISO) and implementation of best practices for secure environments.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Gitea for project and task management
- Experience in working with Agile delivery frameworks (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
- Experience with virtualization and containers (e.g. Docker)
- Serverless Architectures: Familiarity with AWS Lambda and other serverless services for specific use cases
Job Description :
- Collaborate with software developers, quality assurance engineers to guarantee smooth deployment, automation and management of software infrastructure.
- Cluster Management: deploy, scale and upgrade clusters while ensuring minimal downtime
- Monitoring and Optimization: monitor, troubleshoot and tune clusters for performance.
- Set up and maintain secure VPC architectures and networking within AWS
- Secure CI/CD Pipeline Management.
- Security and compliance focus to embed security within CI/CD pipelines
- Manage and enhance cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure
- Automation and scripting to simplify AWS account and OKD cluster management
- Troubleshoot software infrastructure issues and collaborate with the team to resolve them.
- Container image lifecycle management, including building, storing, and securing images in registries.
- Set up disaster recovery mechanisms for OKD clusters and AWS environments.
Technical Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology
- 5 or more years of relevant experience in Dev Ops and IT systems management
- Experience in managing, configuring, and maintaining OKD (OpenShift Kubernetes Distribution) clusters in cloud environments, particularly AWS
- Proficiency in managing containerized applications and orchestrating workloads using OpenShift and Kubernetes tools
- Expertise in configuring and managing multiple AWS accounts using AWS Organizations and IAM best practices
- Strong understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, VPC, Route 53, and Load Balancers
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation or similar to automate infrastructure provisioning
- Proven ability to design, implement, and manage secure CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Tekton, Gitea and ArgoCD
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, or PowerShell to automate DevOps workflows
- Experience using version control systems (e.g. GIT, TFS)
- Expertise in working with Podman/Docker for creating and managing containers.
- Automation Frameworks: Hands-on experience with Ansible or Chef for configuration management
- Good knowledge of Python
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL
- Problem-solving attitude
